Description
PUB adopts a holistic source-pathway-receptor approach to build flexibility and adaptability in the nation's drainage system to cope with higher intensity storms. This involves the continual upgrading of drains and canals (or Pathways) to enhance flood protection in Singapore. Under the Active, Beautiful, Clean (ABC) Waters Programme, the upgraded canal will also be enhanced with greenery and ABC Waters design features such as rain gardens. A Wellness Deck with shelters, seatings and fitness equipment will also be constructed for all to enjoy.
