Purpose of project
Part of the transmission pipelines required for the conveyance of IW & NW produced from the Tuas Water Reclamation Plant (TWRP) and Tuas NEWater factory (TNF) to Jurong Island (East) to meet future demand.
Scope of work
Supply and installation of Industrial Water (IW) and NEWater (NW) pipelines as follows:•950m of 1600mm diameter (IW) pipeline; •600m of 1200mm diameter (NW) pipeline; and •20m of 2200mm diameter (IW) pipeline.
Current update on progress
1200NW open cut pipe laying works: 512m/522m. Shafts construction in progress.
